Tadano GR-750XL-3 Crane Overview and Specifications

Official Manufacturer Model Name: Tadano GR-750XL-3

The Tadano GR-750XL‑3 is a rough terrain crane with a maximum lift capacity of 75 tons. The maximum boom length is 141.1 feet and the maximum length of the jib is 58.1 feet.

The boom is a five section fully powered telescoping boom. The boom head is made up of 6 sheaves for added strength. The pads of the boom support the telescopic sections. On the jib, a single sheave is connected at the head of each section. The slewing system runs through a hydraulic axial piston motor connected to a planetary slewing speed and comes with a manually released brake.

The hydraulic system is made up of two variable piston pumps controlling assisting crane functions, a tandem gear pump to assist in steering, a pump disconnect engaged by a switch in the cab, and multiple control valves. The hydraulic system reservoir can hold up to 202 lons to limit maintenance down time.

The GR-750XL‑3 is powered by a 6‑cylinder Cummins QSB6.7 diesel engine. This Tier IV compliant engine is Turbocharged and strong enough to complete any job thrown at it. The transmission is electronically controlled and fully automatic. 6 forward speeds and 2 backward speeds give the operator the control needed to limit safety hazards. The brake system is made up of hydraulic disc brakes acting on all four wheels, an emergency brake in the form of a spring applied air released brake acting on the input shaft of the front axle. An electro pneumatic operated exhaust brake is also included in each Tadano GR-750XL‑3.
