The SANY SCC8150 is a hydraulic crawler with a lift capacity of 150 metric tons (165 U.S. tons) and a main boom that reaches 81m (269 ft). This SANY crawler also utilizes a fixed jib that extends to 31m (102 ft.). The crane comes with Series 2 counterweights weighing in at 185,188 s.

A Cummins QSL9 diesel 6‑cylinder 325 engine powers the SANY SCC8150. The crane comes equipped with hydraulic system by Rexroth, one of the world’s most efficient, energy saving, stable and reliable systems. Compact and easy-to-install, two drums are included. It includes main and auxiliary winches which are independently driven. All drums are equipped with an electric locking device. The variable hydraulic motor automatically adjusts the output load to maximize winch speed based on load. The swing system is composed of a single motor with a large displacement and planetary gear reducer, automatic load centering and 360° rotation capability.

The SANY SCC8150 features a new ergonomic cab, styled by Porsche Design Studios. The cab can have a 20° upward angle, and be rotated to the front of platform. Both overhead and bottom view to expand the operating view of drivers and operational safety. SANY designed and manufactured the electrical and intelligence systems to deliver quality, efficiency, and performance.

Additional safety features include a tri-color warning system to warn operator that will flash and intermittent an alarm that notifies the operator when the crane exceeds its loading capacity. In case of emergency, there is an emergency button to switch off the engine and stop all operations.
