SANY SRC840 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Sany SRC840 is a 40 ton rough terrain crane with a 103.4 ft. 4 section main boom and a 45 foot maximum jib length.

It is powered by a Cummins 160 6.7 liter engine. Paired with the Cummins engine, Parker and Husco also helped in the manufacturing of this crane by supplying hydraulic components that deliver reliability and consistent performance.

SANY is known for its Load Moment Limiter (LML). The LML helps your operator be at ease and have all the information they need to complete the job. It also allows for full machine diagnostics, allowing an operator to diagnose any problems or ensure everything is going as planned. The LML also displays boom angle and boom length so that the operator is not making any guesses and completing jobs efficiently.

The cab is constructed of all steel. It has more window space, with tinted safety glass and has more visibility than the average cab to allow for safer lifts. Acoustical foam insulating the cab allows for the operator to focus on operating and not be distracted by outside noises. It also has a feature which forces an operator to be seated for any of the controls to be functional, preventing any accidental operation while someone is entering or exiting the cab.
