Zoomlion QUY350 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Zoomlion QUY350 is a crawler crane with a lift capacity of 350 metric tons (385 U.S. tons) The length of the heavy duty boom is 84m (275 ft.), the light duty boom extends to 102m (334 ft.) in standard mode and in Superlift mode it reaches out to 120m (393 ft.). The QUY350 also comes with two jibs, a fixed jib which extends up to 12m (39 ft.) and a luffing jib which reaches out 66m (216 ft.). Both the boom and jibs have the option of additional adjustable sections.

The Zoomlion QUY350 is powered by an original imported US Cummins electronic injection diesel engine with a 700L fuel tank and a CANBUS interface. The traveling mechanism is a four-motor, four-reducer type, with imported hydraulic motor and balance valve. The control handle and foot pedal are both used to dually control the crawlers thus offering a high level of maneuverability and flexibility, including allowing it to move up to 20% grade terrain.

The luffing mechanism and Superlift luffing mechanism are both comprised of a variable displacement axial plunger hydraulic motor, balance valve, speed reducer, normally closed brake, and wire ropes. The wire ropes used are special anti-twisting wire ropes imported from Germany. The slewing mechanism employs a closed-type three-driving-three slewing mechanism; it is comprised of a fixed-displacement hydraulic motor, gear speed reducer, brake, pinions and slewing bearings. For better slewing stability and accuracy QUY350 uses a triple-row-roller external geared slewing bearings to provide strong carrying capacity. Various overturn protection devices are available to effectively prevent the boom from overturning.
