SANY SCC8068 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Sany SCC8068 is a crawler crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 75 tons. It has a maximum boom height of 220 feet and a maximum jib length of 59 feet and 1 inch.

The SCC8068 is powered by a Cummins QSC8.3 Tier III compliant engine rated at 245 horsepower. The main and auxiliary drum rotation is operated by control handles located inside the operator’s cab and is independently driven.

Sany prides itself on its electronic systems. Monitoring systems, load warning lights, and torque limiters along with many other electronics inform the operator of potentially hazardous situations and allow for maximum efficiency, control, and performance.

The swing system provides 360-degree rotation through a rotary hydraulic driven motor. The hydraulic system by Rethrox is made up of the main pump, main valve, control, and a motor reducer. Hydraulic tensioning jacks are used on the crawlers to adjust tension. The frames of the tracks can be retracted so that the crane can be inside the le limits for transport.

In addition, the cab of the Sany SCC8068 is designed with comfort and safety in mind. Heating, air conditioning, and mp3 capabilities are just a few of the features included to keep an operator comfortable and on task. Near and far beam head lamps, rear view mirrors and an extra wide window are standard in every SCC8068 to ensure the safety of the operator and the other people on the jobsite.
