Grove RT875E Crane Overview and Specifications

The Grove RT875E by Manitowoc is a rough terrain hydraulic crane that provides strong lifting performance, along with quick and intuitive operation. Using MEGAFORM™ for fast and efficient operation on the job site. This crane is also rigged with a quick-reeve boom nose and swingaway alignment device to help operators set up smoothly. The outrigger system is comprised of four hydraulic telescoping single stage double box beam outriggers and integral holding valves.

The RT875E has a maximum lifting capacity of 68 metric tons (75 US tons). It has a four-section full-power boom with max. boom length of 39 m (128 ft) and a 17 m (56 ft) bi-fold lattice swingaway extension that provides additional reach and versatility to win more jobs. As well as a 12.2 m (40 ft) lattice extension inserts and an 8.16 metric ton (9 US tons) and a hydraulic removable counterweight. Load moment and anti-two block system with graphic displays and audio-visual warning and control lever lockout come standard. It provides an electronic display of boom angle, length, radius, tip height, relative load moment, max. Permissible laid, load indication and warning of impending two-block condition.

For Powerful and reliable performance this crane has a Cummins QSB 5.9L engine. The transmission is a full powershift with 6 forward and 6 reverse speeds. Front axle disconnect for 4 x 2 travel. To better handle any type of job, there are 4 main steering modes, front only, rear only, crab, and coordinated.

The outriggers are comprised of four hydraulic telescoping single-stage double box beam outriggers with inverted jacks and integral holding valves. The inverted outrigger jacks provide additional protection and ensure maximum reliability. There’s also an outrigger position monitoring system.

A full vision cab, all steel fabricated with acoustical lining and tinted safety glass throughout. The cab can tilt +20 degrees for a better range of vision. Deluxe seat incorporates armrest-mounted hydraulic single-axis controllers. The dash panel incorporates gauges for all engine functions.
